Location: International Finals Youth Rodeo, Shawnee, Oklahoma, 10 July 2024.
Event: Saddle bronc competition. The horse tripped and fell just after leaving the bucking chute. This is the second photo in the series. The horse and rider both walked away from this fall without injuries.
Camera & lens: Canon R5 with a Canon RF 100-500 mm f4.5-7.1 lens at 135 mm.
Exposure: Manual exposure: 1/1000 sec, f/5.0, ISO 400.
Camera/lens: monopod.
Postprocessing: Photoshop for cropping, and minor brightness and contrast adjustment. Topaz Sharpen AI for sharpening.

Ward - from the shot - It looked like the Ryder is saying - OH, this is going to hurt. Glad all were ok.
