American basketball is very popular in Australia, my photo does not show this popularity in terms of spectators. This shot was taken only a week ago at my local suburban court which also hosts games in Australia South-East coast division 2. The game was veterans played by men probably all over 50 years old. Two times 15 minute halves and then onto the next game. I like the photo as it only has three players and an atmosphere typically Australian at this level, one of the players said, big turn up tonight 2 spectators and a photographer, 1 spectator my wife the other the captain's mother 93 years old. The photo shows the determination of these senior “gentlemen” I say this loosely as they played more like Australian Rules Football players, foul after foul.
