About the Image(s)
The image was made at Ki Monastery during my last visit to Spiti in Himachal Pradesh State of India several years ago. It was interesting to see many young Lamas basking in sun and chatting or relaxing in their spare time.
Technical Specifications: Camera Nikon D800, Lens Nikon 70-200 mm f/ 2.8, Shooting Mode Aperture priority, Focal length 110 mm, Aperture f/10, Shutter speed 1/25 hand held.

The poses of the bodies evoke bonds of friendship, and the dominant red color creates a vibrant image. I think it would be good to darken the background highlights, as it gives a washed-out look that is a distraction to me. The image I prefer is the third photo, Original 2, as the inclusion of the two additional figures contributes to the story of camaraderie and also shows the reason for the direction of the upper young man's eyes.
