About the Image(s)
I especially enjoyed watching this group of dogs on the beach at Carmel, California. The three dogs were restrained on their leashes, but this joyous free dog bounced up and down the beach, bringing sticks and a little chaos!
I have included two other photos of the same little group of dogs and would appreciate feedback about the pros and cons as a competition image. The one I chose as my main photo shows all of the faces of the dogs and the woman; the second one shows a little more of the chaos, but the fourth dog is only partially visible; the third one shows the freedom of the energetic little dog but has less interaction with the person and her three dogs. .
Photographed with my Nikon D7200, Sigma 150-600 lens.
Dogs on the Beach 1 and 2: Focal length 360; f/10; 1/1250, ISO 400
Dogs on the Beach 3: Focal length 600mm; f/8, 1/2000, ISO 400.
All three photos were cropped quite a bit and used Topaz Sharpen/Denoise but otherwise not a lot of post processing.
