What a fun birthday party. She is obviously having a great time hanging upside down. I like you colors and cropping. I would straighten out the right side to balance the photo.   Posted: 02/16/2025 11:33:19
I thought we aren't supposed to alter photos as part of photojournalism submissions?   Posted: 02/21/2025 00:25:09
See Ardeth's reply. It is hard to figure out how much is allowed in post-processing.   Posted: 02/21/2025 09:56:04
To me the light blue colour dress of the subject makes her stand out well. As there is some distortion in right side that needs to be straightened as said by Leslie, one needs skill how to use ultra wide angle lenses.   Posted: 02/17/2025 09:46:51
The pose of the main subject really catches my eye, especially with her colorful clothing and the silks. I think the image would be more dynamic if you cropped out more of the background or could have blurred it a bit more so the other people weren't as sharp as the main subject. For me, I am always very distracted by leaning vertical lines that should be straight, and it is acceptable to fix those in post processing.   Posted: 02/18/2025 18:27:13
