Title: Intense Competition
Games in soccer/futbol of young players are very physically competitive, and I thought this captured that expression! I'm interested in hearing comments about the fact that heads or parts thereof are cut off (in camera, not post processing), since the camera was focused on the specific action.
Nikon D850 lens, Nikon 18-300 lens at 270 mm. Shutter speed 1/1250, aperture f/7.1, ISO 500.

Maybe the last frame should be cropped in on just the girl that has fallen? You don't see the cut off heads in frame 1 and 2. I like the collage but see what you mean. But to keep it the same size, you can't do that. Posted: 07/10/2025 12:24:51
Yes Jamie, heads of players should have not been cut. I would have pulled the image a bit to the lower side to retain the full heads in third image. Posted: 07/10/2025 21:17:17
I love to see people use sequences like this to tell a story. The last image in this sequence should NOT have cut off heads and arms. The photographer needs to move with the players to maintain the proper perspective. Posted: 07/14/2025 15:07:25
