The sisters were happily picking up fallen flowers from the vicinity of the temples at Angkor Wat to give to tourists in exchange for a small sum of money.

Although the girls are smiling for the camera, it is obviously not staged for photographers, so it meets the definition of photojournalism in that regard. The young girls are very appealing, but for me, the image is very static in that there is not really a discernible story other than essentially a casual portrait. Posted: 09/09/2026 09:25:41
