Looks it is a scene of a protest with placards which is nicely framed. But I couldnt understand why did you place the photo of the couple at the top right corner ? May be it is related to them, but it somehow doesnt match I guess.   Posted: 07/03/2025 09:34:51

In a photojournalism category, I'm not sure it's acceptable to add anything to the actual photo or remove anything from the image that was taken.   Posted: 07/03/2025 09:58:37

I added the picture because this young couple was at the protest rally and perhaps they were the object of the rally   Posted: 07/03/2025 13:16:11

I'm just confused about the picture of the young couple and I agree it probably is not acceptable in the photo journalism category.   Posted: 07/05/2025 11:11:08

Hi Ed, I love the collection of signs and particularly the DT puppet. Where was this event? I would like to see more of the people at the bottom. It's people naturally doing 'their thing' that make good PJ images.
Both the PSA photojournalism category and common practice in the news industry do not allow compositing.

Comments are appreciated. I know that the added couple didn't meet criteria for PJ . However, the fact that they were at the protest was one of the themes of the protest. Karl the protest was in West Chester   Posted: 07/08/2025 10:16:24

As discussed above, I would remove the couple on top right. Then I might crop a bit from the top and right. I don't think you need every sign to show the meaning of the protest.   Posted: 07/07/2025 19:04:39
