About the Image(s)
Canon ESO R10, ISO 200, 1/128, f5.6, 76mm lens, -0.33 eval metering, polarizer, hand held.
When biking across northern Colorado a few years ago, in the early morning, I came across this person fishing in a quiet creek north of Brekenridge. I watched for about 10 minutes, not casting but meddling with his line. This was taken in the fall of 2024.
The -0.33 eval metering is an error on my part. For whatever reason, I often end up in this predicament. The button to change that is next to the shutter and end up changing it. I notice after downloading to my computer.

Hi Birgit, I get a feeling of solitude and retrospection from this fellow 'meddling' but not actively casting. That feeling could be emphasized by slightly burning in the rocky shores to reduce their bright distraction. Karl   Posted: 06/11/2026 09:09:58
Hi Birgit, I cropped the image to bring focus on the fisherman. I am not sure where your focus is. The rocks seem sharper than the man   Posted: 06/15/2026 18:22:47
