Good night capture, good action, good color and focus, nice to see the actors from the front. They look intimidating with their masks and positions.

Huge crowds leave me overwhelmed, but I guess in India it's hard to find places without them.   Posted: 11/07/2024 12:00:59

Thats right Leslie. Cities are mostly overpopulated. And since people were eager to watch the demonstration, it was more crowded.   Posted: 11/08/2024 04:20:34

Hi Arunima, this is a well taken night shot and I can see you are not afraid to crank up the ISO to ensure a shutter speed that is safe to hand hold and capture the movement. Front on has worked really well, and I'm drawn into the woman with the red waist band, who is looking straight back at you. It's a pity about the mobile phone in the bottom right, but sometimes there is nothing you can do when the crowds are so big and pushy!! I think the amount of onlookers really adds to the scene. Well done.   Posted: 11/09/2024 00:08:39

I think the inclusion of the crowds and the street signs are a main part of the story and add a feeling of excitement that a great audience always evokes! You caught an excellent positioning of the theatrical figures.   Posted: 11/11/2024 17:57:00

Hi Arunima. Another great street scene photo, you have many opportunities to witness these events and your photography can only improve. The story telling within these photos is inspirational I hope Tourism India is acknowledging you. Jen has mentioned the moble phone in right hand corner I would like to add I took a photo like this but the image in the phone was sharp and another view of the event was created. If this happens again you may well get the small snapshot view. Worth a try but at night much more difficult as you will have to close the aperture down, daytime better as was mine. Compact cameras or mobile phones are better than DSLR's for this photography.   Posted: 11/13/2024 21:40:00
