This image was taken at Victoria Market, in Melbourne. We had a camera club challenge “50 images in 60 minutes” The market is a common place for club outings, but always an interesting place for street photography. I caught this chap asleep in his market stall. It must be a long day for these vendors

Hi Jen. A very interesting capture under very narrow conditions which sounds challenging but a refreshing change. At our club many of the categories are old faithfulls. Your photo could have been B&W in fact its almost that anyway. It has a feel of cold bleakness about it which I am sure that's how it is in Melbournes major market in the winter, no heating, no sales, few customers, very boring for sellers. This photo captures that atmosphere. At same time of year Cairns night market is the opposite.
