This was taken at my coffee stop on the way to the Invasion Day protest in January. I was at first attracted to the signage between the young ladies, but as I watched (secretly with my camera on the table) they became quite animated (as only young people can do). I’ve selected this one as I love the expressions.
Minimal processing, just cropped with a little denoise.
Olympus EM1 mk2, with Olympus 12-100 mm lens @38mm.
F5.6, SS 1/30, ISO 800

Jen, I think this could not be more iconic in depicting young women interacting-the storyteller, the giggler "no-you-didn't", those long fingernails! This simple image is a great storyteller too. Wonderful image. Both expressions are priceless. All details are sharp and clear and one can just imagine the conversation going on between the two. I realize you were inside but one would think 1/30 second shutter speed even with the camera setting on a table is a bit slow, yet, the hand action and the talking do appear to be stopped nicely.
