This image was taken in March of 2026 at our local Gay Pride Parade. I like the colors and her smile as she appears to be having a good time.
Post processing in Camera Raw and minor adjustments with several sliders and cropped.
Taken with Canon R5, f/9, 1/1000 sec, ISO 320, 28 to 300 lens @ 235mm, Hand held.

Hi Tom, this is such a winner for me this month (i'm really proud of just how far you have come!). there is nothing I would change about this image - the story is clear, the emotions are high, the colors are fabulous (and very natural) and the subject is clearly enjoying the experience. Your chosen settings have worked well with a clear, sharp subject and sufficiently blurred background. I do believe that this would work well in a general and HI themed section of a PJ competition. Hi Tom. This is a striking photo, the smile, bright colours, and the windshield on the bike with PRIDE and the Churchill V tells an amazing story of confidence and a new world that shows no boundaries for women.
