Brief description: Tianshan Mountain tianchi lake : Tianchi is located on the mountainside of Bogda Peak. It is 110 kilometers away from urumqi. Tianchi is an high mountain lake located above 1980 meters above sea level. at an altitude of 1,980 meters, because the lake is crystal as bright as jade, In myth, Tianchi is said to be the treasure mirror on the west Queen Mother's dressing table, Where It integrates mountains, lakes, spruce forests and snowy mountains, It can be said that it has concentrated the essence scenery of Tianshan , It is known as the “Pearl of Tianshan Mountain” .

Breathtaking! The reflection of the mountains in the ice, the bluish color, the sun hitting those mountains, the way the lake wraps around the land on the right. A perfect composition.
I find landscape photography to be challenging, but this is an amazing picture because there is just so much going on.
Looking forward to visit Kyrgyzstan this summer. It's not that far from there.

This photo was taken in winter, needed on a day when there is no snow, because of the cold, the surface of the lake is frozen, showing the blue frozen lake. Kyrgyzstan is in Central Asia, which I have never been to, and is adjacent to Xinjiang in China. In summer, the temperature is high and you may see the blue lake. Posted: 03/18/2024 07:55:37

I don't know how thick the ice will be, but to keep visitors safe, local officials don't allow people to skate or walk on the lake. However, if you can skate on such a beautiful lake, it must be a pleasant thing. Posted: 03/18/2024 07:58:12

This is just beautiful... I love the leading lines in the ice that take you back into the mountains. I would like to see the mountain reflection a bit more. Not sure how much you can bring out the reflection for a PTD image, but just a bit more contrast? maybe in the mountain reflection would be nice IMHO. Posted: 03/29/2024 20:37:19
