Lighting Conditions: Mid-morning on a bright sunny day. Sunlight from the southeast.
Where and When: Washington DC USA, 27 January 2024 10:27 AM local time. This image was taken from the hill just below the Washington Monument approximately 2000 meters distant and 75 meters elevation. The World War II monument is in the foreground with the reflecting pool between it and the Lincoln Memorial.
Post-Processing: In Lightroom: enabled lens profile, remove chromatic aberration, straightened & cropped, adjusted blacks, whites, shadows, highlights, then adjusted dehaze, clarity, adjusted contrast, vibrance & saturation to view the image as seen by the eye.
