About the Image(s)

Taken handheld from a shopping mall in Singapore, using Nikon Z7 , 24-70 lens at 62mm, f/4, matrix metering.
I was waiting for the train to arrive and wanted to capture the cityscape on the back ground.

I want to understand why I did not get the desired separation of the train from the buildings in the BG.
Your feed back on this will be truly appreciated.

Thanks for asking for feedback--that's the whole purpose of the IDG groups! I think the colors are too similar between the train and the buildings to get good contrast, i.e. a blue train would stand out. My other suggestion is to crop in a good third from the left, which would make the train larger and more prominent in the photo--maybe give it a greater sense of motion as well.   Posted: 05/16/2021 16:54:50

I agree with Laurie, the colours are so similar you had a very difficult task at hand - and you have done the best you could have.   Posted: 05/25/2021 16:16:36

Such similar colors... needed a blue or yellow train!   Posted: 05/25/2021 18:29:03

Thanks every one. Agree with all of you.
I tried changing the image into black and white, only keeping the colour of the train. Of course it will not qualify in Travel section but is good to go for Colour section :)   Posted: 05/25/2021 23:32:52
