Prague Tram by Alistair How

November 2024 - Prague Tram

About the Image(s)

A recent visit to Prague earlier this month and I wanted to capture the tram and street scene in this capital. The red and white trams are iconic, although being phased out for the more modern and less attractive ones. Taken on a pretty grey day. Chose this part of the city where the streets were narrow and cars weren't parked. On a corner so the tram was slowing as well. Beautiful houses with fine detailing and pastel colours. Straightened some of the lines but left the tram power lines in. Waited for a double tram on the corner to provide a leading line into the image

When you see this photo, you will associate it with a busy and bustling street scene with people coming and going, as well as the tinkling sound of car bells.   Posted: 11/06/2024 19:35:52

Very nice perspective and good balance.
Is there noise in the clouds? Sometimes, pictures get like this after posting. If there is noise, I would try denoising with Topaz.   Posted: 11/08/2024 17:36:48

No noise on the original. I added a bit of texture in the sky   Posted: 11/09/2024 02:28:29
