I love the light in this picture. It gives it a very airy look.
Nicely done.   Posted: 04/13/2025 18:59:54

great
If there were a small boat rowing in the river, wouldn't it be even more exciting!   Posted: 04/13/2025 22:21:18

I might have some images from the same river with a boat, but it was across the river rather than down to the bridge in the distance. Of course, I am not allowed to add one....   Posted: 04/24/2025 06:27:08

This is a nice photo !
Small suggestion from my personal point of view:
- How about improve shadow details a bit to get rid of dark areas slightly.
- I too like Zhicai Ren idea...that would make more exiting !
- Since this is almost symmetric composition, how about crop from right side or keep some room from left side if possible.   Posted: 04/23/2025 23:22:03

Malintha, I have two monitors in my studio. The one I use for photography is a Dell UnltraSharp 32 inch and is calibrated using a Datacolor SpyderX Elite calibrator. The other monitor is of a lower quality and is not able to be calibrated properly for photography. When I look at the image on the calibrated monitor the shadows are lighter. On the uncalibrated monitor they are darker and the overall image looks darker, too.

How is your monitor calibrated?   Posted: 04/24/2025 06:25:46

Hi Gary,
I'm using DELL 32 inch monitor, but not calibrated. Then may be issue is in my end.
For me, overall exposure is ok and I was referring to the below highlighted area. But if it is fine in your calibrated monitor, please ignore my comment.   Posted: 04/24/2025 07:17:07

Malintha,
No problem. It does look okay on my calibrated monitor. That was an area that needed some special attention during post processing.   Posted: 04/26/2025 08:22:56
