April 2025 - The Cathedral and The Carnegie
About the Image(s)
It is a photo from inside of the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, PA. Looking out into the courtyard of the museum, but you can also see the lobby, where there is an event going on. And also you can see the Cathedral of Learning on the Pitt University campus. The color blocks are the reflection of a Sol LeWitt installation behind me in the museum. One of my favorite photos because there are so many layers.

Very interesting photo.
I found it a little busy at first, but then, it is, indeed a discovery through the many layers.
Great composition, balance and color blocks!

There are quite a few colorful blocks, but the focus ultimately falls on the crowd walking in the bottom right corner   Posted: 04/23/2025 22:34:32
Very nice colours, reflections, patterns make a nice photo.
I too agree with Zhicai comment above. Can slightly improve in framing and composition.   Posted: 04/23/2025 23:32:16
