I was watching the hot air balloons takeoff at dawn in Cappadocia, Türkiye when these horseback riders came down the dirt road toward me. The light was perfect and area is so well known for outdoor activities it just seemed like an iconic Gorëme moment.
Taken with an iPhone 14Pro. Edited in Photoshop express on the iPhone. Brightened shadows, increased contrast.

Good perspective, several balloons drifting in the sky make the picture compact and harmonious, echoing the gaze of ground riders. Posted: 02/11/2026 20:38:48
