Title: Paris Metro Lips
From the Paris trip in 2024, the Metro has so many cool art installations. In all the years I’ve been there, I haven’t seen this one.

Info: In 2011, Quebec photographer Geneviève Cadieux drew inspiration from a photograph of her mother to create this imposing glass mosaic depicting a woman’s parted lips—a mouth in the metro; the play on words is easy to grasp. Titled "La Voix Lactée" (The Milky Way/The Milky Voice), the work is accompanied by a poem by Quebec writer Anne Hébert, inscribed in ceramic along the corridor: "Long before images and colors, the source of the song was imagined, with closed lips, as a captive chimera." It was gifted in exchange for a Guimard entrance (a Parisian metro entrance) installed in Montreal in 1966.
