About the Image(s)
Title: Alesund from above
Discussion:
Image taken in June 2026 in Alesund, Norway, a beautiful little town on the Norwegian coast.
The intent was to capture a 'different view' of Alesund, from the usual tourist photos.
Taken on Olympus EM1 mk2, Olympus 12-100mm lens @100mm
F10, SS 1/125th sec, ISO 400.

Jen, great perspective from that vantage point. You must have been at the Ålesund Town Hall (Ålesund rådhus). The colorful buildings and their reflection on the canal makes this image. Very sharp and nice colors. Posted: 10/01/2026 07:59:50
This is a stunning photograph. The river runs from the upper left to the lower right, making for a great composition. Posted: 10/07/2026 04:56:48
This is a classic perspective overlooking the inner harbor of a small town on the west coast of Norway, with colorful houses and reflections of waterways being the main highlights, truly deserving of the title of Norway's Art Nouveau Water City. Posted: 10/13/2026 18:41:59
