About the Image(s)

In March 2023, I travelled to Nepal on my own, to trek to Annapurna Base Camp with just a guide and a porter. A wonderful experience and one I would do again tomorrow. Travelling this way allows you freedom, to stop when you need to, explore villages, meet locals and enjoy their wonderful hospitality. It's a delightful way to travel if you like climbing steps!

This is a Buddhist stupa and chorten featuring prayer flags and 'the eyes of wisdom'. It is located near Chhomrong village en route to Annapurna Base Camp - my destination.
