Stoneboat and Teahouse by Malabika Roy, PPSA, BPSA

June 2022 - Stoneboat and Teahouse

About the Image(s)

Taken in the Chinese Garden, Singapore this architectural building was constructed based on Sung Dynasty.
I used Nikon D 800E. The specs were,
f/11, focal length 40mm, ISO-400, exposure - ½ sec.
It was clicked during the evening time as the sun was going down. I went to the point where I could get the whole reflection of the building. Hardly any crop is being done with the usual processing in Photoshop

Good light with a good subject and a good composition. Well done. I like the reflection and the branch framing the picture. The right angle of the stoneboat and teahouse with the only significant lights in the image holds you right there over the reflection.   Posted: 06/20/2022 16:09:26

I like the contrast of the blues and yellows.   Posted: 06/22/2022 12:59:17

Beautiful building and reflections. Overall the photo seems a bit dark to me, but could be my computer screen.   Posted: 06/27/2022 14:49:46
