Malabika, great image of the iconic structures of the Singapore Marina Bay Sands luxury hotel with the infinite pool on the top of the three buildings. A very unique shot of a highly iconic image. I suspect they were flying off the top of the hotel and landing below. Probably not a lot of updraft, so perhaps a short flight. My son does this and I know they avoid landing in water, too much risk of getting tangled in lines. i suspect they had a planned landing spot. in any case the unique opportunity you had makes an interesting image.   Posted: 09/15/2022 09:16:37

Stan, this was during the routine practice done by the Singapore Armed Forces Parachute Team during the National Day. They are also called as the Red Lions. They perform free fall from the height of 12,500 feet from a RSAF aircraft.
Sometime you get lucky to isolate one of them in a vantage position. This was during one of the practice session.
