About the Image(s)

Just returned from a trip to Cozumel. When there I like to visit the Mercado Municipal to see what is being sold. This photo was taken during on October 2019 trip.

While I normally like a foreground object in an image, I find the counter on the right just distracting. I would crop it out and concentrate on the people and counter on the left. You are free to process an image as long as you retain the truth of the place and I suggest increasing the exposure and perhaps contrast of the signs in the upper left. I think they add interest to the image.   Posted: 09/15/2022 09:11:56

Donna,
I agree with Stan.
The right has gone OOF and there is quite a tilt, which is not adding to the image.
The lady positioned far behind on the left, who is looking towards the camera can be considered as a stopping point as all the other people are showing their back at the camera.   Posted: 09/15/2022 09:38:42

A strong composition Donna, I like the lead in between the counters - takes my eye straight through the image from left to right. Perhaps a trim to remove the red sign on the right side removes a distraction.   Posted: 09/22/2022 15:40:25

Cozumel! I like the leading lines too and also agree that the right side is distracting. If you crop in a bit more it tightens up the composition, but unfortunately eliminates the food on the right. I like the decorations on the ceiling and they become more prominent to me.   Posted: 09/23/2022 01:18:15
