It seems really dark, with insufficient exposure   Posted: 11/16/2024 20:05:41

I tried cropping the bottom of the photo and think I like it better. It makes a cleaner composition.I don't think the rounded buildings on the lower right add anything to the picture. I have not been to Singapore but this looks like a travel photo even though it doesn't show me WHERE it is. I wonder what you think about the comment above by Z. Ren.   Posted: 11/18/2024 22:21:18

The photo was taken at dusk so it would not be bright. Agree the buildings at the bottom can be removed.   Posted: 11/18/2024 22:33:33

The building in the background is a famous Singapore landmark, and it would be more impactful to zero in on it. The fact that the image was shot at dusk does not mean that it needs to be underexposed. Here's the histogram (top left); you can see absence of highlights. And the image after levels adjustment and cropping (bottom).   Posted: 11/22/2024 08:16:03

I agree with cropping out the buildings on the bottom of the image, and Sukumar's suggestions on adjusting the lighting really improves the photo. People who have been to Singapore would immediately recognize where it was taken.   Posted: 11/25/2024 10:22:09

Marina Bay Sands hotel dominates Singapore and I agree with several others that the crop works well - as does Sukumar`s levels adjustment. The helix bridge (lower left) lit in pale blue was red when I took a dusk photograph from ground level, Singapore is a VERY photogenic location indeed!   Posted: 11/25/2024 14:48:34

I agree with the comments and Sukumar's example. I have never been to Singapore, but it certainly shows travel. That must have been a great view from your hotel. Well done.   Posted: 11/26/2024 09:03:41
