Great color and detail. Having a person in the picture adds to the interest. It looks as if the top of part of the temple is cut off or maybe it is just very close to the top of the photo. We can't always control the view when we take pictures! It is a travel photo for sure.

An interesting and beautiful travel image. The person attending to what appears to be the offerings on the entrance to the temple really adds to understanding what we are looking at. Nicely done!   Posted: 02/22/2025 10:08:42

Sukumar, very colorful image and I like that someone is doing something to perhaps prepare for an event. I too would have liked to have seen a bit more space at the top part of the temple but it is sharp and colorful and most certainly a photo travel image.   Posted: 02/23/2025 22:42:59

All passing vehicles stop on the roadside here, and he offers the passengers the blessings of Shri Gurna Mata. Such a practice has been common throughout the mountains with their treacherous roads. After every dangerous stretch, you will find a little roadside shrine, where passengers offer thanks (and cash) for having made it alive thus far.   Posted: 02/24/2025 01:31:13

Thanks for that info. Not sure I like the fact that passengers have to offer cash though....   Posted: 02/24/2025 17:22:18

Ha-Ha! Don't tell me you're against commercialization of religion! :-)   Posted: 02/25/2025 03:25:44

Once again you show our group the culture and traditions of the sub continent with vibrant colour. On this occasion you also include a human element - wearing green attire which compliments the dominant red and gold in an ideal manner. An excellent PT image Sukumar!   Posted: 02/25/2025 06:03:58

What a wonderful, colorful image both at first glance and when studying it. The man at work looks very natural and adds a lot to the whole. As do the large and small gold bells. Definitely travel and a winner!   Posted: 02/27/2025 21:22:18
