About the Image(s)
While on a Viking Cruise, I captured this photo of the town hall in Bamberg, Germany.

Excellent composition showing the surrounding bridges and houses. I have seen this building taken closer up but really like your view of it with the old world half-timbered structure at an angle; the building seems so deep to not have any footings but guess its been around a long time. The image is sharp and the weather looks threatening. Lovelyimage. Well done, Michael. (Just read a story about it; interesting story.)   Posted: 02/09/2025 21:25:10

I like this image a lot, but if it were mine I'd straighten it up a bit. I looks like the whole town leans awkwardly.   Posted: 02/14/2025 16:11:28
Although it is leaning a bit, straightening it cuts the top off. It is a beautiful view of Bamberg, but when I was there, I didn't get to see this view. I was on a Christmas Market trip so it was cold. The cathedral there has the 2nd largest organ in the world; the largest is in Philadelphia in what is now Macy's, but was Wanamaker's when we went we there in my long ago youth.
Color, composition, and exposure are all well done. Nice travel image.   Posted: 02/20/2025 12:39:43

I remember this bridge from our trip to Bamberg in the 90s. Really awesome sky you have there! Provides a great complement to the rich colors and patterns of the buildings.   Posted: 02/23/2025 01:19:14
A top class image of this unique "Rathaus" - a much photographed building. The surging river and dramatic sky add lots of impact, as do the pastel coloured buildings of the town, a fine submission Michael.   Posted: 02/25/2025 06:21:59

This is a great travel image! Several in our group have been there and are positive with your presentation. I think the photo is striking, particularly the main subject, the building in the middle. I feel the movement of the water. Good work!   Posted: 02/27/2025 20:48:02
