About the Image(s)
Taken in October 2024 with my iphone 16 on Castle Hill in Budapest of a few of the beautiful restored buildings in the Castle District. Love that city.

So do I, but I was there so long ago and don't remember this building. My first trip to Eastern Europe is all on slide film:-(. I did use NIK Perspective to straighten the building. I am not sure it is an improvement. Photographing a building like this is a challenge and you did a good job.
The people add scale and it would be hard to avoid them.   Posted: 05/19/2025 13:42:44

A nice building in Budapest. I must have seen it but do not remember.   Posted: 05/19/2025 17:40:41
I was in Budapest in the summer of 1964 and experienced the unique character of Buda and Pest through the historical landmarks and distinct atmospheres.
I think your image very well represents the city today with many people exploring Castle Hill. I imagine many of the people are tourists. I like everything about this. I did not notice that the left part of the building is leaning to the right until I read Judy's review. When I enlarged her photo, the building IS straighter.   Posted: 05/23/2025 21:04:44

Nice view of the castle. A little too much of foreground in my opinion. I tried cropping both with your original and with Judy's edit, and I decided I like the lamppost on the right.   Posted: 05/23/2025 23:23:03

Thanks, Sukumar. That may be a good choice, just cropping some of the foreground.   Posted: 05/25/2025 21:37:30
A beautiful building indeed - and taken in ideal conditions, that sky adds so much. I am torn between Judy`s vertical correction and the surging shapes from your wide angle perspective, though I do agree with Sukumar`s foreground crop, Hmmmm - food for thought.   Posted: 05/24/2025 06:19:06
agreed; thanks!   Posted: 05/25/2025 21:37:58
