About the Image(s)

Taken with my Panasonic Lumix camera at ISO 400, f/14, 1/40 sec in July 2019. Emerald Lake is a very beautiful lake in Yoho National Park in British Columbia.

A beautiful image of the lake, and the red canoes in the foreground add a lot if interest and color and the canoes on the lake provide scale. It looks like a very inviting place to visit. I've never heard of the park, but I looked it up and it is close to Banff. Maybe Banff overshadow this park. It would be a cleaner photo without the branch on the left and bottom, but PTD doesn't permit erasing them. They really don't detract from the image.   Posted: 06/11/2025 12:53:12

Thank you, Michael. Banff is much more crowded than Yoho Natl Park. I agree about the branch on left and bottom and thought about cropping from the left to get them out but I liked the red canoes on the dock.

Did I just see in todays PSA Journal that you received your QPSA? Congratulations!   Posted: 06/16/2025 20:00:31
