I took this at the World Trade Center Memorial in NYC, on June 16, the birthday of Raphael Scorca. Every year on the birthday of the victims, a rose is inserted over their name. I didn’t know Raphael, but the rose caused me to stop and pay my respects, and try to capture the feeling of this memorial against the backdrop of the city. This was taken with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. This certainly tells a story. The buildings show location. I haven't seen the memorial in NY, but have seen the one at the Pentagon and in PA. Posted: 08/16/2025 16:13:54
