It is a great shame that traffic passes the main facade of this fine looking building. With the dome, crowns, and statues you portray the Germanic architecture to make this an interesting study.   Posted: 12/07/2025 16:04:26

It is a beautiful building, Rick. Unfortunately when we travel we don't always get the best light when we see something we want to photograph. I would like to see a bit more detail in the building by perhaps sharpening.   Posted: 12/19/2025 11:21:20

Photographing this Dom is a challenge. I found it was easier to photograph the interior. Your image is not straight which is always a challenge with architectural photography. We need to remember to distance ourselves to allow room for postprocessing. Unfortunately, the poor light doesn't help.   Posted: 12/24/2025 14:14:09

Regarding David's comment, you could fix that by cropping out the street and vehicles. You'd lose the steps, but pretty much retain everything else. That said, this image could use a little work to increase impact - such as sharpening, adjusting saturation and opening up the shadows. What do you think?   Posted: 12/25/2025 12:32:25

Rich, it is a shame that you weren't in a situation without the traffic for such beautiful structure. There isn't much that I can add that the others haven't already commented upon.   Posted: 12/27/2025 12:00:03

I see this building leaning a bit to the left and assume this was done in camera. I would like to see a little more on the right to match that of the left. I like the two columns on the left. I also would also like to see more in front. This does not welcome me in as I would like.
