Good image, Michael. The stave church is very sharp and the image has a great interesting background as well. Nice.   Posted: 12/19/2025 11:32:02

Nice image of the church. I am surprised that more of the image is not sharp.   Posted: 12/21/2025 12:04:14

The dull grey of the wooden church certainly poses a challenge to generate some vibrance within your composition Michael, however your accurate exposure does show greenery and some flowers in the land to the left of the building. There is a tiny amount of bright sky near the top left edge which was drawing attention away from the building so I cropped the top ever so slightly.   Posted: 12/21/2025 15:37:35

I like the atmosphere in your image which is kind of dreamy. I like David's crop. It is too bad you did not move back more so the lower edge would not have cut off items. It is a nice architecture image.   Posted: 12/24/2025 14:21:24

Nice location. I like David's crop. I think it could also do with a wee bit of brightening, contrast adjustment and sharpening. Also the ground doesn't seem to be exactly level (hard to tell in mountainous terrain unless you look at the verticals of the building).   Posted: 12/25/2025 12:43:11

This is a good photo image. I'm trying to decide about David's crop. In some ways I like that little piece of sky. I like that the background is bit out of focus. I would also consider Sukumar's suggestion.   Posted: 12/28/2025 20:04:18
