About the Image(s)

A port of call on our recent cruise to Iceland was Isafjordur, so I carried out my usual research and found (via google maps) this hamlet called Osvor that had these traditional grass roofed homesteads.
Instead of booking a ship`s bus outing - and having hordes wandering around, I contacted a local taxi firm via the web some weeks prior to leaving England and came to a deal to take Carol and I there, wait until we had our photographs, and then return us to the port to enjoy the town at our leisure.
I do feel I have taken an image that displays Iceland`s traditional/historical culture.
