October 2026 - Tufa at Mono Lake

This is one of many views of Mono Lake in CA. There may be other places like this, but Mono Lake has the most active formations. You can make your own tufa, just check the Internet. I used a Nikon D300 and Tamron 18-270mm lens at =31mm, SS was 1/320, aperture f 9 and ISO 320. This is a good area for photography and it isn't too far to Bodie.
