About the Image(s)

While walking around the Medina, the old town, in Fes in 2018, I saw these two men engaged in an animated conversation. I took several pictures and afterwards tightly cropped the best one to focus on the action and exclude distracting background clutter.

Sony A7III, Sony FE 24-105mm F4 @ 42mm, 1/50sec, f7.1, ISO 3200

What I like about this photo is right crop helped bring out the body language of the individuals. Great photo and keep observation.   Posted: 02/09/2024 19:38:34

I like the image with the two men involved in conversation. Both men are wearing the cultural hat (Fez?) But I'm not sure if they conveys the country they are in. You definitely captured a moment.   Posted: 02/13/2024 18:18:08

Nice capture! I think I might have liked just a bit more context around them.   Posted: 02/17/2024 17:35:38

The expressions on the two men's faces are priceless. The robe on the man on the right helps with identifying a culture as well as the hats. It's clearly not a studio shot, you say you cropped because the background is distracting, was there any part that could be shown to give more of a sense of the environment?   Posted: 02/18/2024 13:41:03

I like the two men's expressions; I suggest not cropping it too tightly. If you notice, the man on the left has part of his shoes cut off.   Posted: 02/23/2024 18:37:05

I like this as a story telling image and therefore I think it fits better in PJ than in PT. There is not enough about the background or of a place to help me identify where this might be.   Posted: 02/25/2024 08:54:30
