I like this image because it seems to have been taken at the blue hour when the light is so we just see the subject for what it is and not with a whole bunch of different effects created by the lighting. Great job.   Posted: 11/18/2024 13:36:02

This is a hazardous location - I have been there. I always wondered why they haven't put a banister there, given the litigious society we are. To get that shot you had to step all the way to the edge. Pinaki, I think the post processing is a bit extreme. The clouds in the background are an unnatural green and the soft light of the sunset is a bit garish. I would love to see the original.   Posted: 11/18/2024 14:35:18

Yes.Agreed. I used Samsung Raw mode and did auto post that's the result. For some reason green got bumped up. Not sure how these parameters are chosen in those software's. I wonder.

By the way, since I went there recently I found out that they did put a barrier. Not everywhere though. I saw people taking selfies with yoga poses and to spice up their risk taking appetite they would go to the places where there are no barriers.   Posted: 11/20/2024 18:50:56

Perfect viewpoint at the right time of day. I agree the green is too much and for a competition it would not fare well.   Posted: 11/23/2024 10:29:54

beautiful shot! and yes, the sky is oversaturated. As we were discussing with Tom's photos, the cell phones tend to bring out more color than is really there. I can almost always see which photos are cell phone images because of that. But you can hopefully edit that part to decrease the saturation? The rest of the photo is very good and not oversaturated. Look at this iphone image I took in India. I think it's gorgeous but it's way more color than was really there.   Posted: 11/23/2024 12:38:10
