Glad to see we did not have to have a photo from Italy. This is a great image - do they take turns being at the edge of the water or did you have to be there when people started coming?   Posted: 05/09/2021 10:16:14

Thank you. They took turns to come to the beach for cleansing with the scheduling arranged by the Village chiefs.   Posted: 05/20/2021 21:53:51

That's amazing that they are so willing to wait. We need more people like that.   Posted: 05/21/2021 08:31:22

Thank you. I assume you were referring to "EF 16-35mm f/2.8L
".

Focal length, usually represented in millimeters (mm), is the basic description of a photographic lens. ... The longer the focal length, the narrower the angle of view and the higher the magnification. The shorter the focal length, the wider the angle of view, and the lower the magnification.   Posted: 05/20/2021 22:03:51

yes. I agree. I figured it was wide angle. Was curious about the focal length. It is nice work   Posted: 05/21/2021 11:14:56

This photo has so much impact and interest. The bright colors on the bathers as they walk toward the water supply the impact. The movement of the bathers toward the water gives interest and really does tell the story of an organized ceremony. The water line draws the eye into the middle. Even the sky cooperated with nice clouds and color. Great job. I wouldn't change a thing.   Posted: 05/14/2021 13:33:53

I like the sense of movement and energy because you include an appropriate amount of water to know what they are about to do. Very nice cultural depiction, excellent photo travel example. I can't think of anything I would change.   Posted: 05/21/2021 10:28:47

This image definitely fits the travel definition by expressing the culture of the land. I think you could crop some of the water at the bottom of the image so we could see more of the ladies.   Posted: 05/21/2021 15:34:02
