Oops...obviously this photo was not taken in 2025. Meant to say Summer 2024.   Posted: 03/09/2025 12:30:25
Schwabacher Landing is a famous viewpoint for Tetons, the beauty of that place is the reflections that you get on the river. For this photo, the colors, for me are little washed out. There are water ripples, that I understand is out of our control, the effect is that the reflections are not prominent. Slowing Shutter speed would have helped but I don't know how much. For generally we tend to use GND's.
Overall, a good photo.
I have a different photo, but I was all geared up when I visited there several years ago.

It's a veery nice scene. The curving shore line and the reflection in the water sets off the mountains beautifully. The image mis somewhat underexposed and would benefit from boosting the left side of the histogram. I also cropped a little on the bottom.   Posted: 03/18/2025 15:33:42

I love the scene, I wish there were a few clouds but of course you can't do sky replacements in photo travel and you get what you get when you are there. I do think you could add more contrast. Dehaze might help too. The photo is a bit flat. I like Tom's crop.   Posted: 03/23/2025 17:14:06
This is a pretty scene and the snaking river is very nice. I do think the colors need boosting if you want to it really stand out.   Posted: 03/23/2025 17:54:37
This particular area is one in the Teton's that is highly photographed. I was fortunate to be directed to the back roads one needs to find so that they can get to this scene. The three peaks on the left are also heavily photographed and easier to access. This image did not seem to have much pop. I brought the image into Photoshop and used the dehaze filter. I think it helped give it more "pop".   Posted: 03/23/2025 19:14:22

I knew I wanted to photograph this scene. I had seen it photographed by others. I like the dehaze filter on this image. It definitely helps! Thanks!   Posted: 03/24/2025 15:09:22
