The image is a unique take on the usual photos of Angkor Wat Temple. The line of young boys leads your eye into the scene. The sky is very large in this image and it is dramatic. I suggest you crop the left field and the sky to bring focus to your subject: the boys. Also, the the palm could be straightened.   Posted: 03/09/2025 12:45:23

Thank you for your input. I cropped the left side and positioned the young monks within the 1/3 rules. I love the cloud formation which compliment the image; the young monks are wearing real bright orange color robs as the main subject of interest.
The slanted palm is naturally formed, and it is best to leave it as it is to comply with the PTD requirements.   Posted: 03/09/2025 22:34:21

Excellent Photo. Very Dramatic (effect of sky as roof) and a textbook lesson on composition.

I like the composition. The bright orange of the robes is a nice contrast to the green grass and the gray sky. Well done.   Posted: 03/23/2025 17:17:16

This is a wonderful image. The leading line of the path and the monks in their orange robes are terrific. I love the wide angle and the wonderful sky.My only comment to improve it would be if there had been someway that the monks heads were not against the building behind them. But I'm not sure it would've been possible to position the camera that way. Great job!   Posted: 03/23/2025 17:57:31

Thank you. Yes, the timing was the problem. They were walking stack together and I waited when they were apart to take the above picture.   Posted: 03/31/2025 23:41:49

It was more important than the four of them be separate than the fact that their heads were against the building. Good choice to wait until they were separated.   Posted: 03/31/2025 23:45:39

This is a unique image and the vivid colors make it stand out from the traditional look. The horizon in the image did not seem quite level. I leveled it and then decided a bit more cropping on the left and a bit more on the right would give more emphasis to the travel impact of the image. This cropping also reduced some of the sky that I felt was overkill.   Posted: 03/23/2025 19:54:29
