June 2025 - Giant Luggage Sighting
About the Image(s)
John and I were in New York City a few weeks ago. Walking on 57th Street back to our hotel from a concert at Carnegie Hall, we saw this giant structure of luxury luggage. I thought first of Gucci, but the logo wasn’t right, so I asked a doorman at a nearby hotel whose building it was. He explained it is the Louis Vuitton building that is undergoing a major renovation. The luggage facade surrounds the construction site. What a creative way to hide what is usually ugly scaffolding!
Due to shadows it’s not the best photo. I’m including a link that shows some better images and an article about it.
