Why I took this image:

Description: Just recently Carolyn and I took a five-day trip to NY City. For some reason neither of us had ever visited the Statue of Liberty so that was one of our destinations for this trip. We picked a dreary day weatherwise, but the rain held off enough for us to stay dry. We took the elevator ride to the pedestal level and I took this shot across the river looking at downtown Manhattan. I know it is more impressive at night, but I kind of like it.

Post processing:, Normal LR adjustments and straightening. Small amount of dehaze. Sharpening and denoise using Topaz Photo AI.
