In March John and I, with our dueling cameras, took a day long photo excursion in Kanab, Utah. In the morning our guide took us to a slot canyon then to Grand Escalante and Glen Canyon recreation areas. Our guide seemed fascinated by the complementary golden colors of these boulders against the grayish blue dirt. The landscape was something so different, I am curious about your reaction to it as a photo travel photo. Would it work or would judges just shake their head and wonder what they were looking at? Note all the tire marks from ATVs.
