This photo was taken at the Saqqara pyramid in Giza, Egypt. I traveled there in late April this year.
The Saqqara Pyramid is also known as the Step Pyramid of Pharoah Djoser.

I like the starkness of the sandy desert and pyramid against the blue sky. Some might say the sky is boring but I think it works for this image. Although maybe a little less sky would be good. The tiny people in the photo give it perspective. Posted: 07/08/2025 07:44:40
