I have a nephew who just moved to Shanghai with his wife and children. So, I was very interested to see what it looks like there. Beautiful capture of the city skyline in the background. I feel that the image has too much blue tone. I'm wondering if you couldn't decrease that in Lightroom. Otherwise it's very good.   Posted: 12/11/2025 14:46:55
Although the color contrast makes the image impactful, it appears overprocessed. There are halos around the buildings of the skyline that point to excessive use of the contrast slider or Nik.   Posted: 12/11/2025 16:00:03
There is a dynamic here between the busy-ness of the park with all the random people visiting the statue and hanging around in the foreground versus the quite dramatic and interesting skyline of modern buildings in the background. I like the city feel to this. I just wish that somehow you could straighten the skyline as the tall buildings on the left and right are leaning towards each other. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and Happy New Year!   Posted: 12/21/2025 19:37:07
Interesting image of the Shanghai skyline. I find the image was slightly over-sharpened.
I feel the lady on the right, in a gray dress, needs more visual space.   Posted: 12/22/2025 18:45:05

Overall, I really like this picture a lot and the people in the front give a different perspective to the skyline. Looks like I'm the only one to feel that the front part needs to be lightened a bit. To me it's too dark against the bright background. I think a little contrast is good, but this feels to me like too much of a contrast.   Posted: 12/22/2025 19:02:14
