Background :
a mural by artist David Alfaro Siqueiros located at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City.

• Location: The mural is on the side of the Rectory Tower in the Ciudad Universitaria campus. 

• Title: It is titled El Pueblo a la Universidad y la Universidad al Pueblo (The People to the University and the University to the People), also known as Las fechas en la historia de México o el derecho a la cultural. 

• Significance: Created between 1952 and 1956, it is a key work of Mexican muralism that uses sculpture and paint together, depicting the struggle for education and social rights. 

• Themes: The artwork symbolizes Mexican society, represented by the working class, handing over knowledge to the university, which in turn shares it back with the people

Pinaki, this image besides being a good PTD image, shows the intervention of man in defacing public art. On the left side where the dates are printed, numbers have been added in red paint. A text has been written stating is Spanish "Out life Porros" whatever that means, and on the right side it is written "Sionists" ???   Posted: 04/15/2026 15:04:03
