I did basic Lightroom adjustments and used Nik Collection Detail Extractor at about 40% on the slider.
Recently I've been going through old travel photos trying to find more to submit to PTDD exhibitions. Here's one taken with my iPhone at the Crazy Horse Memorial when John and I were in South Dakota for the PSA Photo Festival. This is a very impressive monument, and a bus takes you to the base where the driver/guide fills you in on a lot of the history. If you go there, do take the bus. It's a much better view and you learn why it is taking so long to complete.

The low light and the fall color of the aspens make this image. I like the composition since the monument is balanced with the pine tree. Certainly a "scape" under the PTDD definition. Posted: 09/11/2026 21:19:55
