This image was captured toward the end of the American Legion 500 Festival Memorial Service. I had walked to the library and ups its steps to get a better perspective. Then I heard the helicopters and took several shots of the fly over with my OM1 Mark 2 with 12-40mm f2.8. Camera settings were 26mm, f11, 1/400sec and iso 320. Lightly processed in LR/PS.

Hi Richard, you really were able to catch the Moment! But at first I did not focus on the helicopters because my eyes were drawn to the buildings and I noticed the one cutoff on the right. So my suggestion would be to crop the right side so that you only keep 2 buildings and then the helicopters flying towards you will get more of a center stage. Posted: 06/14/2025 16:13:53
