Java, Indonesia. This shot was taken just before the sunrise. The sky
was clear and was full of stars. Processed in lightroom and photoshop.

These are very hard photos to capture. You did a very good job. I took your photo into LR and went to the Transform tab and hit auto. The resulting photo is attached.
On the topic of cameras I find the OM1 Mark2 with "Starry Sky" autofocus is a game changer for these kind of images. The camera does everything to produce a clean - less noise - sharp image.

Really amazing Rizwan, I have never been able to get a good photo of a starry night! Great job. I do find the city lights a bit distracting but if you crop it out then the composition would be too dark. Posted: 06/13/2025 17:31:08
